The fortifications that encircle Old Quebec span nearly 4.6 km. 

    The historic district of Quebec City, known as Old Quebec ("Vieux-Québec"), is a UNESCO World Heritage site. This area is characterized by its charming cobblestone streets, the iconic Château Frontenac hotel, and preserved colonial architecture.
