Founded in 1905, AJ Auxerre are a French professional football club based in Auxerre in the Burgundy region, playing their home matches at the Stade de l'Abbé-Deschamps. The club are renowned for their exceptional youth development system and for their rise from regional football to national prominence under legendary long-serving manager Guy Roux.
