Founded in 2011 the Sydney Thunder play at the Sydney Showground Stadium in Sydney and will traditionally wear the colour light green. They have won the Big Bash League title on just one occasion with their maiden victory coming in the 2015-16 season where they beat the Melbourne Stars in the final.
