About our Neom news
Latest news on Neom, a proposed mega-city in Saudi Arabia. The city is being designed to be a hub for the future economy, with a focus on clean energy and technology. The city will be built from scratch in an undeveloped area of the country, and will include infrastructure for self-driving cars and artificial intelligence.
Announced in 2017 by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, NEOM is a key part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 which aims to diversify the country's economy beyond oil. The city promises cutting-edge technology, including AI-driven services, autonomous transportation and the use of renewable energy sources with a focus on innovation, tourism, and liveability.
