Latest Seychelles news in a live feed, including updates on politics, local news, sea level rise, tourism, international affairs and all headlines on the Seychelles.

Seychelles, located in the Indian Ocean, is an archipelago consisting of 115 islands, with Victoria as its capital and largest city. It is situated northeast of Madagascar and is an independent republic. The islands are home to rare species, including the giant Aldabra tortoise, numerous bird species, and 75 endemic plant species. Seychelles' economy relies heavily on tourism, fishing, and offshore financial services. The archipelago is committed to sustainable development and conservation, with over 50% of its land designated as protected areas along with two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Aldabra Atoll (a raised coral atoll) and Vallee de Mai (a palm forest which remains largely unchanged since prehistoric times).
