    Latest news on Jamie Foxx, an American entertainer who has won acclaim as an actor, comedian, and singer. He was born Eric Marlon Bishop on December 13, 1967, in Terrell, Texas. He started his career as a stand-up comedian and joined the cast of the sketch comedy show In Living Color in 1991. He later starred in his own sitcom, The Jamie Foxx Show, from 1996 to 2001.

    Foxx made his breakthrough as a film actor with his Oscar-winning performance as legendary singer Ray Charles in the biopic Ray (2004). He also received an Oscar nomination for his supporting role as a taxi driver in the thriller Collateral (2004). Some of his other notable films include Django Unchained (2012), where he played a freed slave turned bounty hunter, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), where he played the villain Electro, and Just Mercy (2019), where he played a wrongfully convicted death row inmate.

    Foxx is also a successful musician who has released five albums that have charted on the Billboard 200. His most popular songs include "Gold Digger" with Kanye West, "Blame It" with T-Pain, and "Unpredictable" with Ludacris. He has won a Grammy Award and several other music awards for his work.

    Foxx was recently hospitalized after suffering a medical emergency while filming a movie in Atlanta.
