About our Xbox Series X news

Latest news on the Xbox Series X, the latest video game console released by Microsoft. It was released worldwide alongside its lower-spec counterpart the Xbox Series S on 10 November 2022. The Xbox Series X is the successor to the Xbox One, as is the fourth generation of home video game consoles developed and sold by Microsoft.

The Xbox Series X is equipped with a custom AMD Zen 2 processor, featuring 8 cores and 16 threads, which ensures fast and efficient processing. The graphics are handled by a custom RDNA 2 architecture GPU, delivering high-quality visuals with hardware-accelerated ray tracing and supporting up to 4K resolution gaming at 60 frames per second, and even 120 FPS in some cases.

Both the Xbox Series X & S are backwards-compatible with almost all Xbox One compatible games and accessories, including Xbox 360 and some original Xbox games.
