    Born in 1989, Bottas races under a Finnish licence and has been racing in Formula 1 since 2013.

    He started his career at a very competitive Williams Racing Team where he managed nine podiums on his way to consecutive 3rd place finishes in the Constructors' championships in 2014 and 2015.

    His performances weren’t lost on Mercedes who hired him in 2017 to replace the retiring Nico Rosberg. He went on to win ten Grands Prix for the Silver Arrows and accumulated over 50 podiums. The Finn then replaced his fellow countryman, Kimi Räikkönen at Alfa Romeo Racing in 2022.
